The safety of children and vulnerable adults is paramount. In line with Archery GB guidelines:
- No Direct Messaging: Adult members (including coaches) must never initiate private direct messages with junior members (under 18) via social media. All communication should go through a parent/guardian or an open group channel.

- Photo Consent: No photos or videos of junior members are to be posted on official or personal social media without the explicit, written consent of their parent/guardian. (see permissions form)
- Anonymity: If posting photos of juniors (where consent is given), avoid identifying them by full name or providing details about their location/school outside of the club context.
4. Safety on the Range & Digital Etiquette
Archery requires focus. Mobile phone use on the range must be managed carefully:
- Shooting Line: The use of mobile phones for texting, calling, or social media browsing is strictly prohibited on the shooting line.
- Photography: Photography is permitted behind the waiting line, provided it does not distract archers.
- Unsafe Imagery: Members must not post images or videos that depict unsafe archery practices (e.g., “Sky Drawing,” pointing bows at people), even in jest. This promotes poor safety standards to beginners.
